We want your stay in our nomadic yurt to have make you feel your Glamping and not camping so we’ve gone the extra mile to make it really comfortable with little extras to delight you.
The yurts have hardwood flooring that measures 5 metres in diameter giving you ample space to relax.
On arrival, your king-size bed with memory foam mattress will be made up with luxurious, freshly laundered Egyptian cotton sheets, pillow cases, and duvet. Enjoy fluffy white towels and toiletries in your very own private en-suite bathroom which is accessed via the back of your Yurt (so no having to go outside in the dark in the middle of the night!) We provide camp beds for children free of charge and you have a choice to bring your own child’s bedding or hire from us, this can be done at time of booking.
Your welcome tray includes tea, coffee, fresh milk and bottled water. You will find a mini fridge in your pop-up kitchen to keep your food and drinks nicely chilled. There is an electric socket to charge your mobile devices and of course you can pack your hairdryer! We’ve added lots of little extras to enhance your glamping experience including electric kettle, cutlery, crockery, pots & pans and even fairy lights and tea lights.
To ensure we comply with the latest environmental regulations, we’ve made a small but important update to our yurts. Our traditional wood burning stoves have been replaced with electric stoves. While we know the crackle of a real fire has its charm, these new stoves provide a cosy, consistent warmth at the touch of the button together with a beautiful glowing flame effect - no need to tend a fire, just relax and enjoy your stay.
Outside you will find your own private decking with a charcoal BBQ, 2 ring camping stove, outdoor table and chairs for al fresco dining, a firepit with a complimentary bag of firewood so you can toast those marshmallows! Just imagine once you've eaten you can sit and relax around your fire pit and take in the beautiful surroundings. Extra firewood can be purchased during your stay.
Old Dairy Farm is dog friendly so if you wish to bring your own dog or dogs, we allow 2 dogs per Yurt and charge £25 which is payable at the time of booking. By your decking, we provide a metal screw-in dog lead stake and ask that you keep your dog on a lead at all times whilst on the property, making glamping with your dog a hassle-free experience for all our Glamping guests.
